"Having been a paramedic for ten years now, doing both transfer and primary 911-response work, I can say that we in EMS, and public services in general, have all been waiting years for a product like the Hurl-e®. It is no fun to be caring for a sick person on scene, or in the back of an ambulance, without access to an appropriate, effective emesis basin. For years we've all used a variety of field expedient containers including wastebaskets, shopping bags, plastic wash basins, and empty fried chicken style food buckets, none of which were ever truly designed for the purpose.
